Why You Should Be Taking Cold Showers
If there’s one thing that can give you an edge over everyone else, it’s taking cold showers. Think about it, how many people are actually taking them? You may think that it’s crazy to take them when it’s quite the contrary.
Most people take warm showers and don’t even question it. It’s what they’ve always done and don’t question why they’re doing it. This is how most people go through life. I know that if you’re reading this article; you don’t want to be like one of those people.
Besides making you mentally tougher, cold showering has more benefits. According to the Medical Daily, cold showers can increase alertness, refine hair and skin, improve immunity and circulation, stimulate weight loss, speed up muscle soreness and recovery, ease stress and relieve depression. You get can all of that just from taking a shower!
If you can get an edge over the competition why wouldn’t you take it? Yes, taking cold showers aren’t easy. But is anything in life in which you want to accomplish easy? Taking the easy road will get you nowhere. Winners are built on the hard road. Winners don’t take the easy way out and are only looking to improve themselves daily.
Taking a cold shower is like creating another habit into your life. The more cold showers you take, it will develop into a habit. I recommend taking cold showers for 30 straight days. I can guarantee you that once you get through the 30 days, you won’t be thinking about cold showering anymore because it will be a given.
The water will be freezing. You will be making every excuse why you should turn the water to be warm. Don’t give in, never give in! You will not die and nothing bad will happen. You’ll quickly realize once you become adept with cold showers, you can accomplish anything!
